Incentives and Commissions Management – motivation and management of the sales employees on the basis of SAP (FS-) ICM

In order to fulfil the department’s desire for transparent and flexible remuneration models software with functionalities for incentives and remuneration management is needed which, in technical terms, is sufficiently flexible to be integrated seamlessly into an existing system landscape. This software should be based on a programming language that is widespread on the market and therefore temporarily easy to extend. The possibility of extending it to a complete platform should not be lost track of due to the entailed potentials.

For more than 10 years, ConVista has been relying on SAP (FS-) ICM when implementing incentives and remuneration models. SAP (FS-) ICM offers an established standard for realizing remuneration models and processes in sales. Pre-defined interfaces can be served by means of SAP and non-SAP systems, as well as with the help of a middleware. Concerning the commission invoicing, pre-defined interfaces are, for example, intended to be used for SAP FI, SAP FS-CD, SAP HCM and external systems.

Amongst the remuneration inquiry within SAP (FS-) ICM, extractors permit passing on transaction data to SAP BW in order to conduct efficient reporting on mass data.
